The PC Decrapifier

Out of the box, my brand new Sony Vaio VGNSZ583 ran like a dog - mostly I think to the plethora of annoying things installed by Sony. The Sony Entertainment Platform, LANUtils, SQL server, a whole bunch of services doing nothing useful - certainly nothing I wanted to use, obscure power management utilities (doesn't Vista already do all this). A separate installer program for every custom wallpaper supplied by sony (about 10 of those) the list goes on and on... on fresh boot of this machine task manager showed over 80 running processes (I think a normal install of Vista is about 50).

Haven't tried PC Decrapifier but if all this was in its list of detected crap I would certainly have tried it.
