Just bought a new HP laptop with Vista and was horrified to discover it came with no OS disk, only the option
to make backup DVD's - just once - of the factory image. It was loaded with crapware. I manually uninstalled
Norton via add/remove and then discovered your program.
It was able to uninstall several things but not the Assistant for the activation of Office 2007. I tried to
do that though Revo Uninstaller (free) and it couldn't either - asked for the installation cd to uninstall
(!!), but then after removing the Office 2007 demo, cleaning up the registry with a cleaner and rebooting, I was
finally able to uninstall the evil Assistant via Add/remove.
Now I find I have installed the following which I assume are all related to Office 2007;
Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components
Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies
Microsoft Office Small Business Connectivity Components
Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (MSSMLBIZ)
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable
Escritor de VSS de Microsoft SQL Server ----- (VSS Writer? - I live in Spain so it's in spanish)
I certainly don't run a small business and the laptop is only for home use, so I presume all this junk can be
uninstalled safely ... maybe you could include it in the next version :-)
Thanks for the program.
Version 1.9.1
P.S:
I left out of that list:
Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 (143 MB)
why hasn't that been uninstalled with Office?
